After having a great breakfast at the hotel, we
got our stuff together and headed to the beach.


We found this cute umbrella across the street.
We sat in our comfy chairs and enjoyed our snacks.






I walked around the beach and was surprised that there were no shells.
But there were lots of rocks and I was hoping to find one that was heart shaped.
Then I decided to collect small rocks and make the heart shape.



We stopped at "The Fiesta" the Fair.
The snowcone was great!




Time for Dinner!

Hubby has told me several times that he liked polka dots.
When I saw this dress at Kohl's, I knew I had to get it for our anniversary dinner.
Hubby really liked it, and wanted several pictures. The hotel man took several.






Here we are at the Vine Restaurant.
The necklace I am wearing was my mom's.



This is what we had for dinner:
Appetizer,Crispy meyer lemon & honey duck wings
Zinfandel braised Colorado lamb shank, garnished with
English cucumber salad, toasted feta, mint yogurt
a skillet of seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed red potatoes

Dessert- Scharffenberger chocolate souffle cake with vanilla bean ice-cream





After dinner we decided to go back to the pier to watch the sunset.
