Christmas 2002 This is one Christmas we won't forget! We were in the middle of a remodel and we could not decorate the way we normally do. We did not set up the big tree in the living room because everything in that room had to be cleared out and the carpet removed. In fact, the whole downstairs flooring is concrete as we wait for the tile to be put in. It just came in the first week of December and and was held up with the embargo of the California docks. So we really decorated the family room and made it quite cozy. Of course I had to be surrounded by snowmen! Once upon a Christmas A snowman I did see He sparkled whaite as diamonds and seemed to smile at me. I too should have the smile That's on the snowman's face, for God has taken all my sins and cleansed me by His grace. He sent my precious Savior, born so long ago, who paid ny debts and made me clean as freshly fallen snow. Isaiah 1:18b "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow" And Reina tries to make herself comfy with my decorations! Christmas Is A Family Time Deep in the Heart of the Winter We are blessed with warmth and cheer, For Christmas time is here again The Family time of year. When loved one start to gather Around the Christmas tree, We all feel good, and well we should, Because we're family. And it's the time for sharing gifts That we've been dreaming of, But the most important gift of all Are the closeness and the love. From a Hallmark card sent to my parents This picture was taken on Thanksgiving Day at my sister Terry's home. We went to my sister Ann's for Christmas and next year it will be my turn.
