My Tea Dye Stitchery

I am always getting ideas in my head to do some sort of craft. I decided I wanted to make my Christmas gifts this year. One of the things I am making is some stitchery pillows. I found some real cute patterns and you can see them here at Country Stitches. I have chosen January, February and December.

I am tea dyeing the muslin material as I speak. It is a long process but not a hard one. The patterns have directions for tea dyeing and I also checked it out on the net. I went to Temecula Old to buy my patterns at Rooster Creek Quilt Shop. I got my embroidery threads today at Joann's Fabric because they were on sale. I have all the rest of my embroidery stuff so eyes don't fail me now.

I love Raggedy;s and gingerbread so I was real happy to find the pattern that had them both togehter! I love the snowman one I got too!

Basically I like to collect so many things and display them!

Here is my first one with a patriotic raggedy.

I framed the stitchery and that is the reflection you see.

This is one I made for my friend Olivia.
The raggedy is holding a snowman.

I did not make this. I bought it cause I loved it!
The 3 snowpeople are my kids and I have it by my computer.
