When we see the dove, we think of peace. But for many of us,
we don't have peace. We are so busy trying to please others
so we can be accepted and loved by others. God wants us to
have His peace. Usually the biggest obstacle to peace
isn't others, but ourselves. This is something I had to learn.
Actually I am still learning. It is a day by day process.

The candle below reminds me of God's light. He doesn't want us
to live in darkness. He wants us to learn to enjoy life.
He wants His light to live in our hearts to guide ouw way.
We can't change others, but we can work on changing ourselves.
The poem below has been a big help to me,
so I share it with you.
May God bless you with His perfect and everlasting peace.

Letting Go

To let go doesn't mean to stop caring,
It means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off,
it is the revelation that I can't control another.
To let go is not to enable,
but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not by my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another,
I can only try to change myself.
To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging outcomes,
but to allow others to effect their own outcomes.
To let go is not to be protective,
it is to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny, but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue,
but to search out my own shortcomings
and to correct them.
To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes
and to cherish the moment.
To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone,
but to try to become what I dram I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.
TO LET GO IS TO FEAR LESS AND LOVE MORE

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

These are instructions on how to let go.
Perhaps it is letting go of a rebellious child
or a burden of sorrow, losing a loved one or
learning to live with a heartache
which we just cannot let go of. Read this,
meditate on it, and most important, pray over it.
You will find that letting go of your load will
release a peace within you which will allow your
spirit to soar to be free, to completely give it to God.
Let the work be done within you where the need is anyway.
