Samuel Castro Sandoval was born September 22, 1933 in Santa Ana CA, Rosie was born in 1935 and Evelyn was born in 1940 Found this picture after my dad passed. Mom and dad starting dating when mom was a Jr at Santa Ana High My mom married Dad-Sam Sandoval in July 18, of 1953 at a chapel in Anaheim. Susano & Louisa Sandoval, Sam & Madeline, Chona & David Juarez Aunt Rose served in the Navy, Dad was in the reserves 6 years. Dad on the right with his friend Beto Valdivia on the left. I was very much the tomboy! So was I! 18 All of us were married by 1980. We were buying homes thanks to mom and dad and having babies. Meanwhile Dad and Mom were running their busy. Father's Day 1984, 4 generation of Sandoval's This is a picture of mom and dad when they went on a cruise with friends. Our daughter Renee joins our family in 1989 Dad has had several jobs. He retired in 1996 from his job as Director of HUD for Orange Country. Dad and Mom opened up SMS Missions Reality and had a beautiful office. At some point they operated their business out of their home. Dad and mom really cared for their community and were able to help many families get their first homes. Dad and mom with their 13 grandkids, around 1990 In 1991 Dad had a triple bypass and mom broker her hip but they did what they had to do to get better and continued with their business. A few years later mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Esteban marries Jaqueline in 2004 Andrew marries Marina in 2005 In 2007 they move to Temecula since dad knew he would need help with mom. Great Grandson Eddie was born the day they moved. Great Grandson Micah was born April 5, 2008 This was taken in Sept, 2008 at Paradise Point, Mission Bay, San Diego. We spent a few days celebrating mom and dad's 55th anniversary. A few weeks later Susie and Ann went with Dad and Mom to NY. This was taken before our NEw England Cruise in Sept, 2008. August 15, 2009 at a Family Reunion at Ann and Ernie's house. We starterd hospice are in January of 2010. Mom went home with the Lord on May 28, 2010 Her whole family was with her to send her off. Dad passed away quietly on February 8. 2013 with his family nearby. Dad talked a lot about how thankul he was for his family and friends. He thanked God for allowing him to accept Jesus as his personal Savior He was able to see things with a new heart. He was thankful he could say goodbye to his family and friends.
