To Our Christmas Village!

Hello Friends, As soon as I saw this village scene,
it made me think of our Christmas Village we put up every year.
When we moved to our new home in 1990, I wanted to start a new
Christmas tradition. So I went out and bought three lighted houses.
One for each child. I bought a church, a school and a post office.
That sat nicely on the piano. I also bought a few figures to
set in front of the village. We put the while Chritmas cloth
and then we sprinkled snow. The boys had fun setting it up
and Renee who was just 20 months old really enjoyed the
low lights as the rest of the room was dark.
Christmas music played softly in the background.
The whole family enjoyed that little set.
So after Christmas with my Christmas money in hand,
I did something I had never done before. I got our of bed
early and headed to the store that had more houses were
I purchased a few more houses and figures that were now 50% off!

Everyone likes what part of the village?
Dad(Jr.) likes the Post office and the ice skating rink.
He also likes the new light house and boat house.
Mom(me) likes the nativity that goes in front of the church.
I also like the church. It reminds me of the church Jr and I met at.
I like the Gingerbread bakery and the Florist shop.

Andrew likes the Inn because it remind him of howhe and
his friends like to go away.He also likes the light house .

Daniel's favorite pieces are the Post Office, the
Fisherman's boat house, the light house and the Church.

that has a rod iron fence, the candy shop, and the church.

and knock over the people!

on side tables. Our snowmen are all over the place!
