I guess the number one tradition is taking pictures
of the kids each year. I have aded a few here.
This was Renee's first Christmas with her brothers.

Christmas 1999
Christmas 2003
My husband and I are passing on the traditions of our
families to our children. On Christmas Eve we go to our
church's Candlelight service. Then we are off to my
husband's family where we enjoy a casual traditional
dinner of tamales, rice and beans. After dinner the
Christmas story is read. And then we open presents.
Our family opens presents in the morning. Then we go
to my parents home in the afternoon. Candles glow as
we sit down to a roast beef dinner with mash potatoes,
salad, green bean casserole, and of course desert.
During dinner we all share "What's new" We each get
to say what is happening in our life and what we are
thankful for. We have a lot to be thankful for.
Because of the Lord, we are truly blessed.
Our latest tradition is decorating different trees around the house.
There is the Gingerbread tree and the Snowman tree,
the Noahs Ark tree an angel tree and a Nativity tree.
We have also started collecting Nativities. Each person
gets to help decorate, and everyone has a tree in their room!
