The song that is playing is Color My World by Chicago. When I hear that sond it brings back this memory: There were 10 couples in our wedding party 25 years ago. They were all a part of a wedding dance that we had. Each couple walked in, then each couple split off to the left and right until they were in a circle. Then thy joined and all walked in one directionand formed 2 lines, girls opposite the boys Then we came out and they all joined hands to form an arch. We went through the arch, and then they all went though and came out to form a circle around us. We danced in the middle of the circle with them all holding hands and swaying back and forth. Then each couple danced around us. All this was happening while Color My World was playing. Then another song by the Midnighters started playing called That's All. We danced along to that. Then another song started playing called Sabor A Mi. Then our parents joined us. We all danced with each other and then my husband and I ended by dancing by ourselves. Yes we did have to practice ahead of time. We had many compliments on the whole thing. Most of the people in our wedding were relatives and a few friends. Yes we did have a big beautiful wedding with almost 500 guest. We had a Maraiachi band and then another band later. We will always be thankful to our parents for joining together and giving us their dream wedding for us. We just wanted to be married, I was 2 days short of 19 and he was 19, almost 20. By age 22 I had my degree from UCI and we owned our first home and all we wanted was a baby. After 3 miscarriages, and infertiltiy specialist, 6 and 1/2 years later our first son joined us,. 2 1/2 years later our 2nd son, and 6 years later our daughter. They are the love of our life and we thank God for them and each other. These are the words to a song that some friends sang at our wedding in 1974.
