Ann's husband Ernie took us to Los Angeles International Wed. morning.
We got there around 6 am, went through express check and then had
breakfast. We were one of the first to board the plane.
Ready to leave from Los Angeles Internationl Airport on
American Airlines, arriving at Newark Airport, New Jersey.
I had a window seat and it was just amazing to see the tall
tall buildings of NY from the plane. Amamzing!
Entering the Lincoln Tunnel going under the Hudson Bay.
This is the longest tunnel I have gone through.
Arriving at the Edison Hotel in Times Square.
Some of the murals in the Edison Lobby
Dinner at an Campanile's near our hotel.
The food and service was great here!
Dad and mom enjoying after dinner coffee and desert.
Ann and I ready to go to our hotel at the Clarion in Midtown Manhattan.
Our reservations were made after mom and dads and the Edison was full
so we were booked at the Clarion. The Edison is right in Times Square
and books quickly. We used taxis to get around.

Exploring the neighborhood and finding a Susie's Kitchen
on Park Ave. This was one of many NY Deli's that had buffet style food
for people on the move. I found out later there was a place to sit upstairs.
It was fun walking around and finding so many things open late.
We had nice room at the Clarion and slept well after being up for so long.
