December Assignment: Take a photo (or more!) of your favorite decoration and share with us why it's your favorite.

I have so many decorations I love but I will mention just a few. After my dad died, I decided I wanted to get the Willow Tree Nativity set. I had a beautiful set my parents had given us year ago, but I since I love Willow tree, I used the money my dad gave me to get the Willow Tree set.

I placed the set on top of a scarf that belonged to my mom. Then placed it on top of a buffet I inherited from my parents. Something was missing.

I added my Charlie Brown trees.

Then I moved them to the piano and my grand daughter liked them there.


My Peanuts Nativity was on the piano and got moved to another area.
This is new for this year since we packed all our Nativity sets.

I made this angel for my mom in the 90's and she put it out each Christmas. In Dec of 2009, she pointed where she wanted hung because she could no longer talk. She died a few months later of Alzheimers. Dad left it there. When he died after Christmas 2012, I brought her back home with me.
