New Fireplace Mantle with a Peanuts Theme this year.

This is my regular tea rack changed over for Christmas.

New Ornaments!

This was our Christmas card for this year that I bought 2 years ago!
It went with the Peanuts Christmas stamps that came out this year.
I was in an exchange with online friends and got lots of cards!
It is sad to see that so many no longer send cards out.
I saw a lot of Christmas wishes on Facebook, but cards are special.

December 12th
Baking cookies at Mema's is becoming a tradition and Elijah joined us this year!

The grands are all wearing their gingerbread aprons.
Tap the picture above to go to our 2014 baking page, but read the rest first.

December 13,

Bright Beginnings Christmas Program. Audrina is a shepherd on the right hand side.

On December 19th the family went to Knott's for a Christmas outing.
I plan to make another page for the Knotts Day.

My whole family met at Miguel's
for or annual dinner and gift exchange on Dec 20st.
Here are the grands in the family with 2 new additions this year.

Afterwards we went to the Nativity program at church.

The following day I had my friends over for our annual Christmas get together.
Jr made chicken pozole. The girls brought rice, chips, salsa and coconut cream pie.

Christmas morning

Santa caught at Andrew's house!

I enhanced this picture on my phone so the tree is sparkling!

The tree next to the clock has Nativity ornaments.
The grandfather clock was a gift from my parents.

I put all my Willow Tree angles in my hutch including the Nativity.

Jazmyn left Santa peppermint kisses cause he would be full from cookies.
She said he could put the kisses in his pocket for later.

Breakfast, Hawaiian Bread French Toast, bacon, eggs and pancakes.

Praying for breakfast.

Before we opened presents Eddie told us the Christmas story using the Nativity.

Hats were from Melinda and Daniel

They each got a book and their favorite animal.

You can see the desert table in the reflection.

Training to be a cook starts early!
Prime rib, mashed red potatoes, green salad,, corn and green chicken enchiladas.
Daniel was making enchiladas for Melinda's family and left us a tray.

Daniel sent us this picture from Mel's parents home.
I remember the days of making the rounds.

After dinner we bundled up and went to "Gingerbread Lane"
and walked a few blocks and enjoyed the decorated homes.

We were all freezing so we were ready for hot chocolate and desert.

I had crushed peppermint, chocolate chips, marshmallows, cinnamon.
I had a coffee/hot chocolate bar this year.
Desserts: Cookies, pie Mexican bread and Renee made rice krispee treats.

The grands loved having special mugs and the goodies for the chocolate.

Elijah loves hippos! See you next Christmas!
