My Crafts

I enjoy crafting mostly to make gifts for family and friends.
Most of my friends know about my airfreshner angels.
Last year I started making the gingerbread angels for
for my pen pal. Now I plan to make some for gifts and I
am in the process of getting my materials together.

I went to a craft night with some friends at church and this
plate is what I made. We started out with a clear plate. We
cut our pictures and glued them to the back of the plate. Liz
did the scripture verses ahead of time for us. I plan to make
some more of these for gifts. You can color copy family pictures
and glue those on. I plan to find older Christmas pictures and
and add snowmen and ginger bread pictures to glue on. You need
to use decopauge glue from the craft store. It dries clear.
We put the glue on with the sponge brushes. the purple background
is roen pieces of tissue that went behind the pansy cutouts.
After the back is dried, spray it with a clear enamel coat
to make the back waterproof. Have fun making memories!

I love to garden and I made this planter to look at when I am doing mu quiet time outside on my garden. I like angels because I now God has an angel watching over me. Then there is a little frog in the birdbath. FROG -Fully Rely On God! The rocks are from Carpenteria Beach when I went with my friends in March 2003. The flowers are Johnny jump ups and white alyssum that have a nice sweet smell. I love birdhouses and I found the 2 at a craft fair. I use to make these garden pots a long time ago when I was fist married. I use to watch my grandfather create beautiful planters. He was a gardner by trade and I bet he is working in God's gardens in heaven today and grandma is with him, Grandma, are you wearing your hat? See you someday! :)
