Welcome to my Lighthouse page.
I first got interested in lighthouses around 12 years ago
when I got into stamp collecting. In looking at the
Postal Guide to Stamp Collecting, I noticed A booklet with
5 different stamps of US lighthouses that caught my interest.
The stamps were so colorful and the lighthouse to me meant
safety and power, a beacon in the dark to show me home.
But it wasn't until in the past years that the lighthouse
took on more meaning. It became a symbolic meaning of Jesus.
Jesus is my strength. He guides the path of my life.
His light shines bright when I feel surrounded by the dark.
His light burns constant in the dark for you and me.
He is a strong tower that will remain stedfast.
So whenever I see a lighthouse I will know that
I am always surrounded by the strength of my Lord.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower,
the righteous runs into it and is safe."
Proverbs 18:10
The Light
Light it springs eternal
As waves crash on the sand
Beacon of all hopefulness
Extending with God's Hand
Guardian of friendship
Reflecting all the way
Storms in life will gather
Light won't fade away
Peace to those in sadness
Who need a special guide
Light in all it's beauty
Within your life reside
Darkness has a glow now
Light for those distressed
Reaching destination
Life be always blessed
Gentle glow that's present
Within our very soul
Holding on with all we have
Light's beacon will console
Light to always guide you
To bring you to the shore
Filling you with peacefulness
This love will now restore
Storms forever gathered
Within the darkest night
Light in all it's splendor
Warmth with such delight
Rainbows cross the ocean
Reflecting love supplied
Myriad of colors
Each storm of life subside.

They are now with the Eternal Light that shines forever.
