My one word was going to be Live, but I decided to use the phrase

I like this saying too.

Psalm 16:11 ESV
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Live, laugh, love has been one of my favorite sayings. This past year, I started Bible journaling and it has opened up my eyes to the Words of God. I have read the complete Bible twice before and know many verses. But since Bible journaling, it is like going from black and white to color. That is how I feel about my life. When you are young, you see things in color. Then life happens and sometimes the colors are clouded over. I have held onto God through the rough times, but after losing my dad in 2013, I felt so lost and in my mind I was thinking, what the use, I am going to die. I set a time table on my life. After seeing a grief counselor, I felt better. I had the support of my family. I held onto my dad's words, you have your faith and your family. Then there was God's Word, I will never leave you or forsake you. While studying for last years one word-purpose, I found this verse. Acts 1:7 "He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority." It really opened my eyes to the fact that I can't control my time line of life. But I can be in God's service and live, laugh and love.

Deuteronomy 30:19 20
"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

Living Life means sharing the blessings with my family, and most especially my grandkids!
It means creating memories while I am able that they can remember when I am gone.
But most importantly, sharing the love of God and reading the Bible.

As I sat here working on this page, I thought of a few more words that led to this page. Without out my Faith, Family and Friends, I would not have a reason to live. God is the foundation of my life and everything that I have is because of His love for me. When God said to choose life, He meant to choose Him since He is the wellspring of life. God wants me to live and be joyful with what I have.

And finally, one more thing, back to that verse about counting the days.
This picture says it all.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 ESV
