Day 2 June 24, 2006
Out on the open sea.

Breakfast in our room, no additional cost.


A guest had to be airlifted out because of appendicitis.
The ship had to slow down and go closer to Canada.


There are enough lifeboats to hold every guest.



At 3:45 we went to hear the Naturalist Brent Nixon speak on
Brown and Black bears. He was very funny and very passionate
about the animals he has been studying for thirty years.


Formal Dinner 1 I had:
Smoked stuffed salmon rolls
Cold melon & mint soup
Spinach Salad
Pork loin with mustard sauce & Steamed veggies
Hot apple tart

Jr had:
Escargot(snails=stuffed)
Onion soup
Gulf shrimp & steamed veggies.
Cocunut rum sherbert

Yummies left by housekeeoing every night when
they turned down the bed and left fresh ice water.
