Once I knew we were going to Maui, I looked for a snorkeling adventure.
The Molokini Crater is one of the top 10 in the world for scuba diving.


A continental breakfast was waiting for us when we boarded.

The ride over was just beautiful and thankfully we don't get motion sickness.

Terry brought her own wetsuit and thankfully I rented a top for $10.00

I really liked Terry's pink suit. She will be snorkeling in Cancun in August.

So here I am getting use to the water. I should have taken off my board shorts.


Terry took a picture of me too but it was blurry. Didn't want you to get dizzy.



I rented a camera that was hard for me to use. The water was always moving
me around and the shot would get messed up but I got this picture of a
Black Trigger Fish. This was my first time out in the open sea.

Thankfully there was a photographer who took pictures that we could buy.

After being in the water for awhile, we were called back in.
Every person had to check back in with the Captain. Meanwhile,
lunch was served while we headed to our next stop known
as Turtle Town. I just had to see one turtle!



As soon as we got in the water, there was a turtle on the bottom!


Look at those strong webbed feet. Yet they are so graceful.


The turtles are use to scuba divers. I was also that close to a turtle
and I thought I had my camera on but it was off. Should have just used my disposable.











Terry and I were both pretty far from the boat and the spotter told us to
move up closer. The spotter sits on a surfboard looking for turtles and sharks.

Here were are doing "hang lose" but we should have tied up our hair.



The photographer blows an air bubble up to get the circle effect.

We were going back pretty fast and later I got sprayed with water.

We didn't see as many fish as we did in Hanuama Bay, but the whole adventure
was exciting and I would do it again if I ever go back to Maui. I mostly
wanted to see/swim with turtles and that made my day!
Oh and we did get to see spinner dolphins swimming by.
