Tuesday, June 26, 2012, The Dole Plantation.

We stopped off for breakfast in Waikiki and this floral arrangement was at the counter.

Jr. and I were here for 15 minutes in 2009 while on a circle island tour.
We decided to go again and spend more time here.

We decided to take the garden tour instead of the train tour.

Banana Trees

Dad walking by Candle Nut Trees

Great shot, but this is where I got some mosquito bites.

Love these fan palms

The yellow hibiscus is the state flower.

Papaya Tree

The Kuopukupu Tree

Ohia Tree

I love this color!

Bird of Paradise remind me of my grandpa David and the Tiki room at Disneyland.

I love these Hala trees.

I wasn't quite ready for this picture. But at least I have the memory!

Strawberry Guava Tree

The Pikake Tree, also known as Jasmine. This is where the jasmine comes from in Jasmine tea.

The Ti plant, used in cooking as a wrap, floral decorations and some herbal recipes.

We stopped to see a pineapple cutting demonstration. We also got some samples.
